Welcome to Subjoin.one (“Subjoin.one”, “Service”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Subjoin.one and all related services, features, content, and applications operated by Carlos Eduardo Magallon Zepeda.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.


1. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can legally enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.

Minors may use the Service only under appropriate supervision where required by applicable law.


2. Description of Service

Subjoin.one provides browser-based and cloud-assisted media editing tools, including but not limited to:

  • Compress video

  • Cut video

  • Extract audio from video

  • Split video

  • Remove silence from video

  • Stabilize video

  • Crop video

  • Clean audio

  • Compress MP3 audio

  • Convert FLAC to MP3

  • Subtitle video

Most tools process media locally within the user’s browser. Certain premium features, including subtitle generation, may require server-side processing.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update features at any time without prior notice.


3. User Accounts

Some features may require account registration.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

  • Notify us promptly of unauthorized account access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


4. Subscription and Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

Payments are processed by Stripe.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically

  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law

  • Pricing may change at any time

You are responsible for any taxes associated with purchases.


5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

  • Infringe intellectual property rights

  • Upload or process unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, or malicious content

  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or infrastructure

  • Abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service

  • Circumvent usage limitations or subscription restrictions

  • Use automated systems to excessively access the Service without permission

We reserve the right to investigate and take action against violations.


6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload, process, or generate using the Service.

You grant Subjoin.one a limited, temporary, and non-exclusive license solely to:

  • Process uploaded media

  • Operate the Service

  • Generate requested outputs

  • Maintain technical functionality

This license terminates once processing is completed, except where retention is legally required.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have permission to use uploaded content

  • Your content does not violate laws or third-party rights

  • Your content does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal protections


7. Copyright Complaints

Subjoin.one respects intellectual property rights.

If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, you may contact:

Your notice should include sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material and your ownership claim.


8. No Monitoring Obligation

We do not actively monitor all uploaded or processed content.

Users are solely responsible for the content they upload and process through the Service.

We are not responsible for user-generated or user-uploaded content.


9. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability

  • Error-free operation

  • Compatibility with all devices or browsers

  • Preservation of uploaded files

  • Specific processing speeds or outcomes

Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure failures, or external factors.


10. File Processing and Storage

Most tools process files locally within the browser and do not upload files to our servers.

Certain features, including subtitle generation, may temporarily upload files to cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) for processing purposes.

Users acknowledge that:

  • Cloud processing may involve temporary storage

  • No system can guarantee absolute security

  • Processed files may be deleted automatically after processing

Users should maintain backups of important files.


11. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing

Some features may use automated technologies, including speech recognition and artificial intelligence systems such as Whisper or similar technologies.

Generated subtitles, transcriptions, or outputs may contain inaccuracies.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing generated content before use or distribution.


12. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate or rely upon third-party providers, including:

We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, downtime, or actions.

Use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and policies.


13. Advertising

Subjoin.one may display advertisements and sponsored content.

We are not responsible for third-party advertisements, products, services, or external websites linked through advertisements.

Interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.


14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Non-infringement

  • Reliability

  • Accuracy

  • Availability

We do not guarantee that outputs generated by the Service will meet your expectations or requirements.


15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carlos Eduardo Magallon Zepeda, Subjoin.one, and affiliated parties shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of data

  • Business interruption

  • Content loss

  • Security breaches

  • Unauthorized access

  • Errors in generated subtitles or processed media

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply.


16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carlos Eduardo Magallon Zepeda, Subjoin.one, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your uploaded content

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of third-party rights

  • Your violation of applicable laws


17. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, including for:

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Abuse of infrastructure

  • Illegal activity

  • Security risks

Users may terminate their accounts at any time.


18. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.


19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the competent courts of Mexico.


20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
